Unveiling the Sony PS5 Digital Edition Console

Today, Sony took the wraps off of the PS5 Digital Edition Console, the latest iteration of their popular gaming console. The new console features faster graphics processing and support for 4K UHD resolutions in order to compete with Microsoft’s Xbox One X console and the Nintendo Switch handheld system released last year. We got our hands on the new console earlier today to take some photos and to get a feel for how it performs in person, and we were impressed with what we saw. Read on to learn more about Sony’s upcoming gaming console release!

Design

The ps5 digital edition console has a transparent casing so that you can see all of the components that make it work inside. The power button is located on the left side and has a sleek, silver design. The touchpad is also located on the left and has an ergonomic shape. The controller, which plugs into a USB port on top of the console, features dual joysticks and triggers. It also features pressure-sensitive buttons with haptic feedback that give you more precision when playing games.

The thumb stick size was increased from 3/4 to 1 inch in order to be more precise for first person shooter games. One of the coolest features about this device is that you can switch between Xbox and PlayStation controllers by sliding a switch up or down on the backside of the device.

Price

Sony is unveiling their new console, the PS5 Digital Edition Console, and it's going to be a big hit. The first thing you'll notice is how much more powerful it is than any other digital edition console on the market today.

It has an ultra-fast processor and an 8K HDR screen so that players can enjoy games in their full glory. On top of this, there are many ways for developers to monetize games through micro transactions and subscriptions.

Gamers will love it! There's no denying that the PS5 is an upgrade from the PlayStation 4, which many gamers have been looking forward to since launch. Sony understands what people want from a gaming console, which is why they created one with all of these high-tech features. If you're looking for a new game system then look no further because this just might be what you've been waiting for!

Controller

The controller is designed to feel more like a gamepad and has customizable buttons. It also features a share button that allows players to capture screenshots and video of gameplay, share it on social media, or live stream their gameplay.

The controller also features touch-sensitive areas on the sides of the grips which can be used for in-game actions or to control certain apps. For example, the touch-sensitive area can allow gamers to switch between weapons without taking their thumbs off the controls.

Another key feature of the new controller is its light bar which illuminates when players turn off the PlayStation TV for sleep mode. When in sleep mode, turning on either one of these options will wake up all other controllers from this console but not from other consoles within range.

Games

The Sony PS5 digital edition console will include a new controller, with a touchpad on the front for easier navigation. The price of the console has not been released as of yet. The games that are currently confirmed for release in 2020 are:

- Red Dead Redemption 2

- Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

- Spiderman (PS4)

- Mortal Kombat 11 - Battlefield V

- Final Fantasy VII Remake

- Assassin's Creed: Odyssey

Specs

The console will feature eight terabytes of storage and a 500 gigabyte hard drive for storing downloaded games. Plus, there will be no restrictions on downloads, meaning players can play as much as they want without worrying about running out of space. The console will also come with a touchpad controller that acts as both a keyboard and mouse.

It's smaller than the current PS4 controller and has an analog touchpad in place of the d-pad.
